Sales and Marketing Administrator

Job Overview:

The Sales and Marketing Administrator is the go-to individual for our company brand. The basic function of the Sales and Marketing Administrator is to assist he Director in planning and executing of matters relating to the Sales and Marketing Department for the company.

The Sales and Marketing Administrator will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Serve as a key administrative liaison for the Sales and Marketing team. Activities include but are not limited to administration of quotation folders, quote follow-ups, proposals, etc.
  • Complete administrative duties for the Sales and Marketing Department including but not limited to the following: Manufacturing Representative agreement administration and Customer Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) administration.
  • Development of marketing plans and campaigns and policies and procedures to optimize SEO, maximize efficiency and effectiveness of resources employed in the marketing of the company's services. Monitor SEO and web-site metrics - hits, page views, bounce rates, etc.
  • Keep promotional materials (e.g., brochures, newsletters, sales presentations, sales tools, etc.) updated and ready for distribution. Maintain continuous inventory and drive ordering of replacement materials.
  • Generate marketing content for a manufacturing audience.
  • Provide daily administration, updates, and handle specific projects as assigned.
  • Work with management to promote the Company's presence in the industry via traditional and digital marketing and advertising.
  • Maintain marketing platforms to ensure all content is appropriate, accurate and updated regularly.
  • Assist with social media accounts, online advertising, company website, portals and other on-line tools.

Qualifications:

  • Administration experience with Salesforce or other CRM.
  • Experience with digital marketing - Social Media and Email campaigns.
  • Experience managing a web-site, Word Press preferred.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal required.
  • Proven experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to leverage market research, competitive analysis and user experience data.
  • Strong project management, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, commitment to detail and good writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with little direct supervision when needed.
  • Ability to cultivate good team relationships both internally and externally.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe products and CRM systems is preferred.

Education level

  • Associate Degree preferred with an interest in business or marketing; Bachelor's degree a plus

Experience

  • 1-2 years previous experience in a marketing position or internship
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in increasing levels of marketing support.
  • A working knowledge of marketing and tracking results (Preferred manufacturing knowledge)
